Yesterday Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook was proudly announced that they reached the 500 million users world-wide, and they mentioned that they will be looking more in future.

As of this morning, 500 million people all around the world are actively using Facebook to stay connected with their friends and the people around them.
What do you think of this statement? since I was using the Facebook since year 2006, for now I am using my tenth Facebook account due to various deactivation, Account blocks and Memorial states. that mean Facebook has more than 500 million user registrations?
The next point is how many Facebook accounts do you have? well, as a n individual I am using 2 Facebook accounts, one for my personal profile, and the another one for the my Company.
By these kind of statements Facebook trying to keep attracted and get the attention of the users who are not using the Facebook, that is the only thing I can say. what do you folks think of this statement?
I also using face book. this has both good and bad side. but some people wil get addicted to this.
Yoosuf, I agree with your point but let me point out to the word “actively” which means it could also be accounts that people are using and actively using.

, perhaps he should not mention this morning , if he is meaning the active users, he should mention a time span. it is a simple mathematics.
